Sesshin is the traditional 7 day residential intensive meditation retreat of Zen Buddhism

When: Sesshin begins on the evening of Friday, November 21st, ending on Friday afternoon November 28^th2008. There is a weekend option starting Friday 21st, ending Sunday afternoon 23rd.

Where: Sesshin is being held at our wonderful Quarantine (St Martin’s) Island venue and is residential. The main accommodation is two large dormitory style rooms.

Weekend option: There are a set number of weekend positions available, and your attendance will be confirmed by the organisers. It may be necessary for you to go onto the weekenders’ waiting list.

Fee:The Fee for Spring Sesshin: Please register with a $50.00 deposit, or full fee, with the balance to be paid by Friday 14^th of November. (Couples pay at the unwaged rate per person.)

$430 waged and $385 unwaged for the full seven days.

$160 waged and $130 unwaged for the weekend only.

(We have facility for the fee to be paid over a negotiated period of time. Please contact John.)

If intending to come, please indicate by 31 October, so that we can plan menus, buy food etc.

We are a community organisation supporting alternative healing practitioners and alternative spirituality groups in Dunedin, New Zealand.
